Detailed, beautiful, and enlightening are words to describe Tom Crestodina’s artwork of maritime vessels, scenery and wildlife (above and below the surface).

This is a drawing that I made in cooperation with the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration to show the hazards of sunken or derelict boats - but it was also something I had been wanting to do for some time - a shipwreck on the sea floor.

The drawing pictures a fiberglass gillnetter sunk in shallow water with its mast awash. There are numerous North Pacific fish swimming in and around the boat.
