Asha Falcon

Asha Falcon is a writer and visual artist living in Juneau, Alaska. She grew up in Alaska and Michigan. She is a graduate of The California College of Art, and The Ohio State University. She has been exhibiting her artwork in Juneau since the early 1990s.

Asha works in layers of mixed water media and pencil, often in a smaller format, exploring themes of identity and belonging. She merges words and images to portray the connection between the inner self and landscape, often through reoccurring images such as the isolated cabin nestled between mountains and the sea.
